Cherry blossom
I am finished in the top left-hand corner. This is only a quick post, as I need to be out the door.
But you will see the swallow has migrated over here, and seems quite happy.
The ribbon used is 7mm Colourstreams hand-dyed silk, and the stitch for the branches is Coral stitch, in Gumnuts buds silk. Both are Australian ribbon/threads.
I agonised over what to do to the tatting, as beading it didn't seem to work - I like this result, as it emphasises the design, rather than muting it, as beads did.
