Kalocsa lace

Thanks to SueH in NJ (New Jersey????) for the clue about Hungary. She is right. I put this post up in a hurry last night as I was heading for bed. This morning armed with that clue, and a Google search for The Lace Fairy, I have identified my doiley as Kalocsa Lace. It takes its name from the city of Kalocsa in Hungary, and there is more about it on the Lace Fairy. Think I might go back there and never come back - I had forgotten how wonderful that site is.
