Peacock Fabric

Even though I have totally finished piecing my Peacock Wall Hanging, I am still a sucker for Peacock Fabric. So when I saw this Jinny Beyer quilter's cotton on Tuesday, I had to have a piece.

PeacockFabric

This view is about 12 inches (30cm) high - I can just see one peacock pieced in the centre of a bag????

Besides, a gurrrrrl can never have too much fabric, can she???

(The answer is YES, but that is another story)

Personally, I don't think you can have too much fabric. What if the stock market were to crash (heaven forbid) and you had to survive on what you already own? Not to mention the fact that fabric serves as great home insulation in the attic or in closets. Somewhere around here I have a list... At any rate, the peacock fabric was definitely a must have. I wouldn't mind having some m'self.

Believe me - you can (have too much fabric that is)- must tell the story one day.

But glad you dropped by - Hello. :)

Dear Chloe,

I also am into peacock fabric and loved your Jinny Beyer piece picture. Could you please tell me where you got it and if it is still available. I want a peacock feature for the centrepiece of a quilt I am planning. I want to bead and enhance it so it would need to be at least 12" square.

Hi Misty,

I found it in my local patchwork shop - maybe you can find one of the bigger online vendors and so a search - I don't buy fabrics online, so I don't know where to suggest. :(
