Little Lady
Still too busy out here to post much. But thought I would just slip through and post this one, grubby though she is.
Doncha Luv her???
So, guess what she is????
Yep,
She is .........
A coat hanger! I think of a commercial nature. Possibly from the 1930s????
From the Sarah Carter Collection, Old Gippstown, Moe, Victoria.

She is just lovely. I find more and more that 'new and improved' is not all it's cracked up to be!
I love her! I'd never have guessed she was a hanger. I was thinking an art deco doll. What fun it would be to make one of these.
How kewl is that? What a neat hanger. Thanks for sharing!
She is just beautiful!
What fun it must be, to be able to see for real all these beautiful old things of times gone by..
My mum had one similar L - don't know what happened to her... She was a made from a statin type fabric...
*@$#% blogger!!! just lost my comment when I signed in...
was trying to say that she looks like she was styled after the Italian press moulded boudoir dolls that were popular in the flapper era, nice that she has survived so well
You must be having such a good time in your museum, wish I could join you!

You won't believe this but I am into coat hangers at the moment too. We have a marvelous collection at the op shop where I work. Nothing like yours though.
She is so beautiful and those eyes are so 'modern'. A very clear photo and I never thought she could be a coat hanger.
Just wanted to let you know that you are missed... hope things settle down for you soon...
Just a ditto to Linda S's comment. Really miss you and your posts. And hope all is well with you.
