Heart for Jan
This is my finished "filler" block for M2's Hearts for Jan quilt.
I'm not sure I'm happy with the blank centre, but my idea was to try and run the eye around the block, rather than go "boing" for the centre.
And I think, being a "filler" block, the idea is it should not be a star in its own right.
So it is on the way, M2.

This is effective. Great way to use the UFO's. I wondered the same thing for my filler block. It should be a little less busy (I mean encrusted).
Oh, just saw the feather stitch on the rick-rack. Like that!
........and this block looks even better in "real life".
I received it today (TYVM chloe) and at first I thought it was different from what you showed on your blog!
