Crochet Crinoline lady

One of the ladies at the Neighbourhood House has just given me a photocopy of an early pattern for a crochet Crinoline lady - I have no idea what it should look like, but it is an edging for a handkerchief.

You can find the pattern HERE, but you will have to be a member of Flickr to copy it.

Would love to see what it looks like if anyone ever makes it.

I don't crochet, Linda, but I am quite sure your pattern is one that comes up time and time again on eBay. I have a tablecloth with the ladies all crocheted around the edge, and I have seen handkies, doilies, teacosies, you name it - with the same motif. If you like I can scan mine and email it to you so you can put it on your blog. It isn't the kind of thing I collect, so I don't want to put it on my blog.
